OPTO LAYOUT SOFTWARE

The Opto LAYOUT software version, which can include all the functionalities of Opto DOC and Opto ATO software, is dedicated to the quotation of plants and/or production lines. This process involves considerable complexity due to the high number of components and the necessity of graphically representing the plant within its destined operational context.

With the Opto LAYOUT software, it is possible to automatically create:

  • Quotation documents related to industrial plants.
  • Graphical representations, such as 2D and 3D layouts, to communicate the actual “physical” impact.

Based on the configuration of the line stations and the creation of a library of 2D or 3D graphical symbols, these symbols are dragged and dropped onto the floor plan or CAD environment. Once the arrangement of the plant stations is complete, the Opto LAYOUT software provides the complete BOM (Bill of Materials) for the plant and the corresponding quotation document.

With a few simple and controlled steps, it is therefore possible to correctly configure the machines or line stations, obtain the quote, and generate the layout. It is also possible to initiate the quotation process by creating the customized plant BOM first. This will automatically generate the series of 2D or 3D “graphic objects” which, when positioned in the CAD operational context, will constitute the layout to be attached to the quotation document.

WHY USE THE OPTO LAYOUT CONFIGURATOR SOFTWARE TO CONFIGURE PLANT LAYOUTS AND COMMERCIAL OFFERS?

The Opto LAYOUT software is a powerful tool for the automatic creation of quotations based on plant representation through layouts, includes real-time updated data in the appropriate languages, and leads to a drastic reduction in time compared to the traditional process of creating and configuring quotations and plant layouts.

The Opto LAYOUT software can be used in stand-alone mode or within the application context that includes integration with Documenta. The advantage of having the document configurator software integrated into the application context of corporate software, such as Documenta, from which the configuration data must be retrieved, is very important because the ecosystem is complete with all the information about line components and the overall BOMs of the quoted plants.
